For those of you who did not enter last year’s race…

…do you have any idea what you signed up for?
  i have been mislead

Say something nice here about Dan and Dave:  an inspiration to all budding event planners, game show contestants on cable, and financial analysts everywhere.

Anything else you would like to say?  The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Chris

Why will you lose?  Because there's no way that I'll get that lucky a second time in a row.

Not including your team, which team stands the best chance of winning?  Mama and Mr. De

What have you done to prepare for this race?  Bought the entire DVD set of Sex in the City and watched every episode 3 times.

What do people tend to underestimate about you?  Other than intelligence, wit, sincerity and compassion, I really can't think of anything.

For those that were in last year’s race…

…what was the best part of the race for you?
Running back and forth across the first 200 yard span of the Brooklyn Bridge with 4 other equally befuddled teams.  Hilarious....can't wait to do it again.

…and what advice would you give to this year’s new racers?  Don't be so hard on yourself when you first read the clues and feel like you're only a few IQ points above an imbecile.  It's not that you're that stupid, it's just that Dave is a freakin' genius!

Who probably looks better naked – Dan or Dave (remind yourself who is organizing the teams before writing your response)?  Why do I have to guess?  The quality of the digital photos that I have is so good that the winner is obvious.  Just judge for yourself.  Go here

Say something nice here about Dan and Dave:  They are both completely comfortable with shameless self promotion.

Anything else you would like to say?  In all seriousness, I cannot acknowledge Dave and Dan enough for all of their work in organizing this event for a second year in a row.  For those who don't know, the race last year was nothing short of spectacular.  The amount of time and effort and money that is required to pull off this event so beautifully is absolutely staggering.  From the creativity of authoring the clues; to the scouting of race locations; to the coordinating of teams and race checkpoints; to the printing and laminating of materials; to the website design; to the food and after party; and to handling all of the hundreds of details and problems that pop up along the way, you both deserve more thanks and appreciation than I can possibly provide.  So I will just once again say THANK YOU for creating another tremendous experience for all of us.  You guys rock!
